The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree is awarded by Northwood University which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of the regional accrediting agencies for higher education in the United States recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Hotel Institute Montreux also awards its own separate degree confirming the successful completion of Northwood University’s BBA program at its campus in Switzerland, and this degree is formal recognition by Hotel Institute Montreux of the standards achieved by BBA graduates.

The challenging Master degree program develops hospitality management skills together with business knowledge for students seeking executive level positions in the international world of hospitality and business. The business orientation of the program includes a specialization in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources or Luxury Business Management endorsed by leading companies; experts in their field.
Direct entries are accepted into term three of the program for graduates who hold a Bachelor degree in Hotel Management (or related discipline) and have a minimum of 6 months of work experience. The hospitality management training contains the following components.

English Foundation Programme
The English Foundation Programme offered by the Swiss Education Group is an ideal way to strengthen your English language skills before starting your hospitality or culinary studies in your chosen school.
Structure
The English Foundation Programme runs throughout the year in four-week blocks. Students may join at the beginning of any four-week block, for a minimum of four weeks.
The course offers students a minimum of 20 hours of English instruction per week and covers the following subject areas:

Reading and Text Analysis
Communication Skills
Critical Thinking and Analysis
General Hospitality Knowledge

Duration
Students entering the course are tested upon arrival using the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT) in order to tailor the course to their individual needs.
The length of the course for each participant depends on their personal English level and motivation, with the objective to achieve the required score to enter their desired hospitality course.
Location
The English Foundation Programme is offered at the Swiss Education Group partner school, Hotel Institute Montreux. Students from all Swiss Education Group schools who need to strengthen their English language skills participate in the course.
Transportation
Upon completion of the course, the Swiss Education Group will provide transportation to your chosen school to start your hospitality or culinary studies.

Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements, however in order ensure you have a positive experience and can follow the course, we strongly recommend a 4.5 IELTS level or equivalent.
