Ecole Nouvelle was founded in 1906, and it provides a first-rate education for over 600 students during the year. Located in Lac Léman, close to Lake Geneva, the school benefits from being right in the centre of Europe.
Our founder, Edouard Vittoz, focused on the individual by placing a strong emphasis on flexible educational programmes, and we continue to follow this example to this day, both in our regular lessons and in our popular winter camp.
Who Is the Winter Camp For?
Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande has a strong focus on sports, and this is reflected in our annual winter camps. We organise ski camps every year for children of all ages, helping them to learn new skills or improve their existing skills in a beautiful location.
We have two camps: one for primary school pupils and one for middle and senior school pupils. We offer a daily ski programme plus other activities in the evenings, providing a fun and unforgettable experience for all.
Winter Activities
The winter camp for primary children can host up to 42 students, and it takes place in February each year. We provide ski lessons during the day as well as other winter activities like sleighing and making snowmen. Children are placed in groups with no more than six in each group, and they are carefully supervised at all times.
The winter camp for middle and senior children (classes 5 up to 12/IB) is also held in February, and we can host up to 80 children. We provide ski lessons during the day for beginner, intermediate and advanced students, and each group consists of no more than 10 children.
