EFQM (the European Foundation for Quality Management) is a not-for-profit membership foundation in Brussels, established in 1989 to increase the competitiveness of the European economy. The initial impetus for forming EFQM was a response to the work of W. Edwards Deming and the development of the concepts of Total Quality Management.

The International Management School Geneva has become a member of the SAQ Association on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. As a neutral and independent body of certification of persons, the SAQ is able to certify people in the most diverse fields. The IMSG also enters the closed circle of universities (University of Geneva, IFAGE) receiving this recognition. Since 1994, the SAQ is the national partner organization of EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management). It offers the Recognition EFQM program “Niveaux d’Excellence” and a complete drive system for Business Excellence.

With the Swiss Made label, the IMSG joins the organizations that defend the quality of Swiss expertise. SWISS LABEL is an association within the meaning of art. 60 ff of the Swiss Civil Code. SWISS LABEL deals in the broadest sense of brand management and labels. The hallmark of SWISS LABEL is the crossbow. The origins of SWISS LABEL back to 1917 (creation of the “Swiss Week”). Protected in Switzerland and in important export countries, crossbow, true complement and / or alternative to the Swiss cross, represents the brand “Swiss”.

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is a global professional body for those who work in the financial and investment industry. It aims to set standards of conduct and ethics for participants in the securities and investments industry, and to provide qualifications for such professionals. International Management School Geneva is the first swiss business school to offer financial programs in partnership with the CISI.

The Fédération des Entreprises Romandes Genève (FER) is a Swiss employer’s organization based in Geneva. It groups 26 000 members, including multinational corporations as well as 9000 independent workers and 75 trade associations. It’s involved in negotiations with the trade unions, political lobbying and the provision of services and business networking opportunities for its members.

All of our existing modules (in Finance, HR, Marketing, Trading...) are available for Exec Education and we pride ourselves on also working on tailored-made programs that are fully fitting your needs.

Our modules run for a period of 7 to 14 days, and can be capitalized as part of a degree or certification.

These training modules represent a unique opportunity to develop an influential network and discover a cosmopolitan city where international organizations and NGOS together with financial instituitions, pharmaceutical companies and the watch industry are headquartered.

Our language of instruction can be English as well as French or German. A translation service can be made available.

Bachelor, 3 years

The Bachelor’s degree of the International Management School Geneva is prepared in three years after High/Secondary School or equivalent graduation. The objective of this program is to equip our students with fundamental business knowledge and professional experience. Four programs are proposed:

You’ll gain knowledge in accounting, marketing, leadership, entrepreneurship and more while developing critical-thinking and decision-making skills throughout your degree program. These working skills and the ability to apply business theory to the working world can help you make an impact on your chosen field.

International Trade has become one of the most prominent industries in today’s globalized world and its size and importance is continuing to grow. Virtually any company aiming at expanding abroad now needs to take part in international trade. Take a Bachelor of Science in Trading & Finance and become equipped to work in this exciting field.

The Bachelor of Science in Marketing from International Management School Geneva prepares students for careers in communications, marketing research, product management and sales leadership. Our students learn the fundamental principles involved in selling a service, promoting a product or building a brand.

This course provides students with an in-depth understanding of the exciting discipline of international relations. Students will learn about the workings of political instituitions in countries around the world and explore the complex field of relations between nations. Taking place in Geneva, world capital of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), you’ll be immersed in an international culture and working environment.

Doctorate In Business Administration

The DBA is an integrated high level work and research program for management practitioners and professionals, who are oriented towards making a significant contribution to practice and policy.

The DBA is suitable for a certain type of project from professionals who are looking for more pragmatism or are looking for modeling their managerial practices.

This training allows professional managers to conceptualize their knowledge and experience and to learn to share and disseminate it in written form through a rigorous Thesis.

Graduates from the program are expected to make a key contribution to practice, so program work will relate to the chosen topic of Thesis as well as research methodologies.

DBA international recognition is granted since many universities internationally offer this type of course. DBA Auditors will also gain recognition through their scientific publications and they will take part of a network of professors and scientists across the world.

Our DBA can be followed on campus in Geneva or at distance. For the latest, we will provide the student with a mentor and with two one week methodology seminars in Geneva over two years. We believe that the distance program is more suitable for a DBA as it allows the student to combine her/his research with her/his job.

Master, 18 Months

The Masters at International Management School Geneva prepare graduates for demanding careers in private, public or non-profit organizations by integrating global understanding, entrepreneurial thinking and business fundamentals with key items for any manager’s success, such as the importance of managing information and information resources effectively using scarce resources and understanding human behavior. International Management School Geneva MSc in Sales & Marketing for the Life Sciences Industry is preparing our students to find great roles in Product Management, Marketing Management, Marketing Communication, Sales across the whole diversified Health Sector.
