Nowadays, employers are looking for employees with excellent oral and written communication skills. The Center for Language Studies at MBU offers advanced business communication courses in English that are designed to help students, adults, and business professionals quickly acquire the oral and written communication skills they need to be successful academically and professionally.
The other two languages taught at the Center are French and Spanish (minimum 6 participants). The Center also prepares students for the new TOEFL iBT, the main Cambridge ESOL examinations, and the IELTS test.
The need for cross-culturalization in the workplace and competitiveness in the global marketplace mean that foreign language competence has become a vital 21st century skill. Therefore, all undergraduate students at MBU receive a total of 3 credit hours in French or Spanish.
We also provide specialized and customized business English language training for professionals, managers, and companies. All our groups are small and have no more than six participants. Courses can be taken at our Center. Private lessons are available and can be tailored to suit individual needs.
